The mummy Returns is an exciting blockbuster movie designed for the mystically intrigued and historically minded inhabitants of this, the 21st Century. It takes us back deep into the history of mankind to the time when Egypt was the superior world power and ruled over the world. It takes us to the time that superior numbers and more sophisticated combat weapons brought glory, not lawyers and super-killing devices. We are mesmerised into Egyptian life and culture, standing inferior towards the gods.

You are a gallant, brawny, chivalrous war hero born and bread to destroy evil and wickedness. However most of the time you find yourself dealing with dead guys... Mummies. Your name is Rick O'Connell and your out to save the world again, except this time there's more than one problem. In fact there's a whole army of them. But not to worry you have your beautiful british broad to help you. Well, sort of. So how are you going to do it this time Mr. O'Connell? Let's find out!

A brilliant archaeologist discovers the whereabouts of a certain Mummy which our hero's destroyed 9 years earlier... Imhotep is back, and pretty cheesed off too. It turns out that this archaeologist is not your average dirt digger. She is a reincarnated version of Imhoteps trecherous girlfriend. Not bad for 5,000 years old eh? They themselves have a problem this time. A man who was once known as the Scorpion king is about to have his joyous reunion, and thats not good for anyone, as he was even more of a jerk than Imhotep. I'm serious! So in order to stop him we go through the typical conflicts and resolutions involving, flying boats, pigmies, curses, disappearing forests and of course some bad to the bone mummies. Weren't expecting that were you? Of course we reach a stage where our good guys fight the baddies and against all odds, send them back to the underworld. A traditional but fitting end for naughty mummies...
For narrow minded people, the 'Mummy Returns' will just be a stereotypical action movie with good effects. However for everyone that has a few more rooms upstairs, it is an exciting display of historical information backed up by a brilliant story line, great actors and magnificent special effects!
